tonight I did some sanding and made a bookshelf. it is not perfect (ergo I am a FAILURE) but it is pretty pretty. I still have to assemble the other shelf and finish them. I bought some tung oil to make them all pretty and stuff. never before have I finished the wood I build with. this is a step into adulthood.

no you can’t see pictures yet because they aren’t done and they aren’t perfect and I haven’t hidden their flaws.

if anyone has any writing tips on how to make something that has consumed my life in the last few days and which, quite literally, excites me more than thoughts of sex (temporarily, I hope) sound even more boring and not worth your time, put them in my inbox plz.
